My BIG boy

It just seems that Paxton is growing up so fast. He seems to continue to learn new things everyday. This weekend Sean and I were noticing just how grown up he has gotten.

On Friday night I called my mom, we were all in the car. Pax could tell who I was talking to and asked to talk to gama on the phone. HE HAD A WHOLE CONVERSATION!! Sean and I just listened to him in amazement. We could understand the entire conversation and what they were talking about. Wow! My baby is not a baby anymore. Paxton was so excited to go to gama and papa's house. He asked all day when we got to go. Thanks mom and Adrian for taking him.

Saturday morning we woke up and put together ALL of his puzzles. The kid can do all of them by himself, even the hard ones that have several pieces in one area. I just can't believe what a big boy he has turned into.

Pax and the Potty

Pax was very interested in the potty before we moved to our new house, and even went in it a couple times. The move threw that out the window! Occasionally he will tell me that he wants to sit on the potty. Its a start. He's just turned two afterall.

Isn't he such a big boy sitting on the potty!!

More TRUCKS Please!

Paxton loves trucks! He can't seem to get enough of them. He knows each and every one of his cars, and knows if its missing. He frequently wants to take the trucks with him when we leave. Pax shoved his pockets so full of trucks that his pants fell to his ankles. When I took them out I counted NINE! I only let him take two with us.

Big Bed

I know it has been forever sense I last posted something. Now that I have a new computer and we are in our house, I promise to do better. I have a few friends that are so dedicated to keeping this thing up to date... so you are my new inspiration. (Thanks Ashley, Megan, Holly, and Mindie) I have tons of stuff to say, but I cant do it all at once, so keep checking back.

We finally put Paxton's toddler bed together on New Years. (The peices have been in storage for a year) Paxton loves that he can climb in and out of bed. The only problem is... that he can get in and out of bed. About two weeks ago I came into his room to get him ready to go to daycare. When I walked in he was no where to be seen. The door was shut, and he can't open them yet. Immediatly I began to panic. I yelled his name and heard a little wimper. My little bug was completely under the bed... asleep! A couple days later he did the same thing. I have no idea if he rolled out of bed, or if he got up in the night.

This is how I found Paxton yesterday morning... What a funny kid.

Last night Paxton started crying. Sean went in there to see what was wrong and almost stepped on him. He had fallen right out of his bed. So now I'm wondering, does he need a bigger bed, or to go back to the crib. Good thing its not very far to fall.

Playing in the water

Paxton's favorite thing is being outside. His next favorite thing is water. Combine the two and he is one happy camper. I gave him the hose to play with. He thought it was great. He sprayed grandpa's truck, the house, himself, and ME. Poor Daphnie wouldn't even come outside. Paxton thought it was hilarious to chase me with the hose. Pax loves Popsicles, he says they are "hot." Well not quite.

Tubes

Paxton had tubes put in his ears on May 19th. He did very well. He was up and playing the same day. Coming out of anesthesia was tough. He was kicking and screaming. He wasn't sure if he wanted to be held or not. Hopefully this will help with the ear infections.
